Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 11, 2026
Parking SF is designed to work without an account. This policy explains what data the app and website may handle and what it does not collect.
What we collect
- Approximate or precise location only if you grant location permission on your device
- Searches, favorites, and recent places stored locally on your device
- Basic request logs on the backend for uptime, debugging, and rate control
What we do not collect
- We do not require a personal account to use the core map
- We do not sell personal information
- We do not claim live vehicle tracking or collect parking sensor telemetry
How data is used
Location is used to center the map and find nearby blocks. Search history and favorites stay on-device unless you explicitly share a map state link. Backend logs are used to keep the service working and to diagnose failures.
Third-party services
The app may use Apple Maps services for native search and map display. The backend may call public geocoding or local Valhalla services when those features are enabled.
